Match IPL is Gearing Up for Season 5

The world’s first professional Match Poker league, the Match IPL came into being in 2017. Since its inception, the league has hosted 4 seasons of Poker matches. The fifth season is scheduled to begin in February 2023. So far, the league has offered an attractive prize pool of 8.6 million INR.

As far as the qualifiers are concerned, they kick off on December 21st, 2022 and will conclude on January 15th, 2022. 12 players will make it to the next stage.

At the end of the qualifier matches, only the top 3 players will go for the Match IPL season. The top 9 players will be rewarded from a prize pool of 1 Lakh INR.

The Indian Poker league was created by International Federation of Match Poker (IFMP) and Viaan Industries. Currently, West Nally Pvt Ltd, the commercial partner, has taken over the ownership of the IP as well as the league.

For 2023, there are multiple Poker events lined up, including the Asian Championship and the World Championship.

Along with Poker, desi iGamers also love card games like Andar Bahar, Teen Patti, and Roulette. What’s more is that players can try these games for free at licensed casinos
