Gator Hunters Symbols & Payouts
It’s a scatter pays slot, so you get payouts for at least eight matching symbols on the reels. The low-paying icons are your gear: the boots, binoculars, moonshine, trap and baby alligator. They pay out between 0.15x and 9x your bet.
The gator hunters are the high-value symbols. That includes the blue bandana wearer, the green Steve Irwin lookalike, the yellow gator-hungry grandma and the red gun-toting bearded man. They pay out 1x up to 60x your bet.
Gator Hunters Slot Special Features
During our Gator Hunters review, we spotted several special symbols, including the skull wild. The random triggers, multipliers and spins add to the theme and the overall experience.
Eater symbol
The Eater symbol is an alligator wearing sunglasses. You’ll only ever see one on the reels, and it only triggers when there are no winning combinations. It picks a random number of symbols and removes all of them from the reels, then it becomes a wild symbol.
The golden version is the Super Eater. It acts just like the regular version, except that when it turns into a wild, it gets a 2x, 3x or 10x multiplier.
Revolver Multipliers
Revolver symbols can land on the reels at any time, but they’ll only activate if there are no Eater symbols and no more winning combinations. They contain bullets with multiplier values. If triggered, the cylinder spins and randomly stops. You could get an empty chamber or a bullet. If that’s the case, the multiplier is applied.
Multipliers range from 2x to 2,000x. The colour of the bullet signifies the value, which goes from purple, blue and orange to red and the highest is white. There are three types of revolvers:
- Normal – Spins once.
- Super – Spins again if a bullet is selected.
- Super Fire – Spins again if a bullet is selected and causes all other revolvers with bullets to spin again.
Free spins
There are four free spin types. They’re triggered when three or more bonus symbols land on the reels. During the free spins rounds, upgrades apply. They are:
- Extra bullet 2x – Revolvers get an extra 2x bullet.
- Extra bullet 10x – Revolvers get an additional 10x bullet.
- Super Eater – All Eater symbols are Super Eaters.
- Super Revolvers – All Normal revolvers are Super Revolvers.
Swamp Spins is triggered by three bonus symbols. You get 10 spins and one of the upgrades. The total multiplier remains and applies to any spin where a revolver lands on a bullet. When more bonus symbols land, you get between three and 15 additional spins, depending on how many are on the reels.
If four bonus symbols land, it triggers 12 Frenzy Spins and two random upgrades. Five bonus symbols on the reels lead to 15 Gator Spins, where three upgrades are randomly awarded. You get 18 Apex Predator Spins when six bonus symbols land. In this round, you get all the upgrades and, instead of Super Revolvers, you’ll get Super Fire Revolvers.
Buy bonus
Indian players will find several buy bonus options available to them. You can get a range of boosters to guarantee special symbols. There’s also the option to pay for three of the bonus round options or the Lucky Draw, which could lead to any of the four. After a bonus round ends, you could be offered to buy an extra spin.
